About

Janice Lee is a Filipina-American synthpop singer/songwriter based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

She was introduced to music at an early age, growing up around her father’s active involvement in the Filipino-American live music scene in the Bay Area in the ‘80s and ’90s.

Janice dabbled with different instruments throughout her life but took music seriously after college. She then made the decision to commit to studying voice and piano. From there, she experimented with piano composition and began writing original music. She felt deeply connected with the process and it was clear to her that this was her purpose.

Her synthpop style is influenced by a combination of many artists. Her musical palette ranges all through the decades. From Dua Lipa, CHIC, Miley Cyrus, Earth, Wind & Fire, Erykah Badu, Pharrell Williams, Bruno Mars, Bill Evans, Chicago, Charlie Puth, Corinne Bailey Rae, and among many others, she draws inspiration from all styles and genres of music.

Janice's music has been featured on VH1 and European networks, E4 Network, and TF1 Séries Films.
